When we cry for Zion
When we cry for Zion, we cry for his presence.
His presence is more than everything to us. For in Him we live, we move and we have our being.
His presence is the factor that set a mark of difference between us and other nations and people.
Moses pleaded for His presence after God had promised to go before them;
Exodus 33
15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
He (Moses) must be asking for something definite, something palpable, something evident and reassuring.
We gather as thirsty deers panting for the fresh waters of His presence in a solemn, divine communion.
In 9 days from now.
29th May, 2022.
We dine.
